About Us

All of our teachers are professionally trained in Early Childhood Education. They are passionate and committed to their teaching and regularly undergo continuous professional development training. They receive professional training from recognized institutions including Hong Kong Baptist University, Hong Kong University of Education, Hong Kong Open University and Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education. These training include Master in Early Childhood Education, Bachelor of Early Childhood Education, Special Early Childhood Education Certificate and Early Childhood Education Certificate Course. There is also a social work service scheme providing assistance to pre-primary children and their families with welfare needs through cross-profession collaboration.

Conference on Collaborative Action Research Campaign cum teachers lecture 

Date:30th March 2019

Content:Teachers participated in a research project and attended a lecture on “Whether classroom collaboration is more suitable for SEN Children than individual counseling in terms of the effectiveness in addressing their learning and development needs” and “foster child growth and relationship building through games.”

Course on “Teaching children with special needs through music” 

Date:November and December 2018

Content:The workshop explored the use of music as a tool to help children with special education needs. Teachers learnt to design music activities by incorporating therapeutic elements in order to enhance children’s learning and abilities.

 

Team of Child Care Services: “Japanese Early Childhood Education Overseas Exchange”

Date:October 2018

Content:Through visiting Japanese Nurseries and Kindergartens, teachers experienced the Japanese free play culture. This broadened teachers ’ horizons and enhanced their professionalism.

Content:Through different artistic expressions, teachers and workers reviewed the sweetness and bitterness of life, identified their source of strength, and learnt to be at peace with themselves even during hard times. 

“Enhance Learning Effectiveness by Brain Gym” (Joint School Training)

Content:Teachers gained understanding of the principles of Brain Gym training and the three-dimensional brains. They learnt to apply the techniques of Brain Gym in daily teaching to improve the learning effectiveness of children.

 Content: Teachers learnt strategies to guide children in developing emotional control and self-discipline through demonstration and practices.
